Development of Fonterra’s Global Health and Safety Management Framework.  This comprehensive framework included the structure of how health and safety is to be managed within the business and the full range of supporting documents including safety procedures, performance standards and process guidelines.  A key element to the framework was the development of global audit tools, audit protocol and the training of internal auditors across international business units, along with external auditing from Impac’s senior auditors. Contractor accreditation and management system reviews for major capital works projects for Auckland International Airport, Air New Zealand, Contact Energy, Mighty River Power, Meridian Energy and others.  Development and delivery of contractor safety management process to Air New Zealand, including web based computer systems to support the pre-qualification, induction (web based e-learning delivery and assessment), monitoring, audit and review processes.  Health, safety and risk management advisor to many of New Zealand’s leading organisations including the Department of Corrections, Fonterra, Auckland International Airport, Auckland Regional Council, Air New Zealand, Department of Conservation, Wellington City Council, Contact Energy, etc Trainers for the Department of Labour health and safety inspectorate and Civil Aviation Authority auditors. Expert technical advisers to Department of Labour and Maritime New Zealand investigations Industry sector advisors and development of best practice guides for the mining and extractives industry (MINEX) and the waste industry (Wasteminz) New Zealand’s (and Australasia’s) only NEBOSH accredited training centre and “face to face” provider of the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health, with one of the world’s best pass rates Provision of NZQA-accredited health and safety training for many organisations at all levels including Department of Corrections, New Zealand Steel, Fonterra, Carter Holt Harvey, New Zealand Defence Forces, NZ Forest Industry and the NZ Industry Training Organisation.  We train over 7,500 people each year!  Provision of ACC funded training for health and safety representatives and for the Workplace Safety Discount Scheme Development and implementation of web based health and safety management systems, including modules for incidents, hazards, risks, audits, contractor, training and competency management.
