Pat Tomlins

Pat Tomlins is a Senior Trainer/Consultant with Impac. He provides a strong industrial focus and continues to be heavily involved in the Permit to Work/Isolation training for Fonterra nationwide. Pat's continued involvement in ACC FishSAFE programme has extended to Aquaculture and the large vessel fishing fleets nationally. Pat provides a large degree of leadership and mentoring to other Impac trainers, assisting with their continuous development.

His experience includes the review of industrial training material, Development, review and delivery of National FishSAFE Training Programme, Review of ISO9001-2000 standards and recommendations for improvement to Carter Holt Harvey Senior management, Resource of Human Resources process and recommendations for the implementation of new initiatives.

Pat is also experienced in Confined Space Entry, Hazard ID, Accident Investigation & Reporting, Employee Training Needs Analysis, Health & Safety Representative Training.  He has a high industrial focus, highly skilled workplace trainer/instructor/mentor, dynamic team player and an effective communicator to all levels of trainees.
  
Pat holds the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health, Trade Certificate in Automotive Engineering, and Royal New Zealand Air force Automotive Engineer.
