    Who is the course for?

     Managing Workplace Safety is aimed at managers and supervisors whose prime responsibility is not health and safety but who are 
     responsible for managing resources and risk in compliance with their organisation's policy and best practice in health and safety. It provides
     an excellent understanding of key health and safety issues and the legislative framework which governs those issues.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of safety and risk management practices and processes
• Identify common hazards in the workplace, carry out risk assessments, record findings and review procedures
• Understand key strategies for controlling hazards and reducing risks
• Identify the crucial elements which promote effective health and safety culture in an organisation
• Understand your legal responsibilities for health and safety and injury management
• Identify how to effectively measure performance to meet policy objectives

Duration

4 days followed by a 45 minute multi-choice test and practical assessment
